Building & Road Material Testing
OUR APPROACH TO MATERIAL TESTING
Reliable construction begins with trusted materials. Building & rock material testing ensures the quality, strength, durability, and suitability of construction elements such as concrete, aggregates, cement, bitumen, bricks, tiles, natural rock, and more. These tests help assess whether materials meet national and international safety standards.
Core testing—done on drilled samples from structures—provides vital insights into the compressive strength and integrity of hardened concrete and rock. From new project assessments to retrofitting decisions, this testing plays a crucial role in civil engineering, infrastructure, and geotechnical investigations, minimizing failure risks and enhancing structural performance over time.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
About Building & Road Material Testing
Core testing provides direct insight into the in-place compressive strength and condition of concrete or rock, essential for safety evaluations.
We follow international standards, including IS, ASTM, and BS, as well as other relevant standards, depending on the test type and project requirements.
Cores are drilled using a core cutter, then trimmed and tested for compressive strength and density in the lab.
RQD (Rock Quality Designation) measures the quality of rock cores based on the percentage of sound pieces longer than 10 cm.
Material testing is essential before and during construction; frequency depends on project size and type.
NDT provides useful indicators but cannot fully replace core testing, especially for compressive strength validation.
Depending on the test type, results can take from 1 to 7 working days.
Natural rocks, boulders, and quarry materials used in foundations, embankments, and retaining walls are commonly tested.
Yes, core extraction and sampling can be arranged on-site under expert supervision.
Yes, we are NABL-accredited and our reports are accepted by most regulatory bodies and government agencies.
